Dr. Katja Antoine holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a research focus on race, gender, and performance. She has an M.A. and a B.A. in anthropology with a minor in Afro-American studies also from UCLA. Antoine has led corporate workshops on organizational work culture and consults on issues of diversity, inclusion, implicit bias, communication, and conflict resolution. She is co-author of Human Sexuality: Biological, Psychological, and Cultural Perspectives, 2nd Edition(Routledge/Taylor & Francis, 2021), and has taught university classes and published articles on the topics of race, gender, and U.S. entertainment culture. Antoine has a certificate in human resources management and is a certified mediator. She is currently the program and research developer for the UCLA Center for the Study of Women and lives in Los Angeles.
